2011 was a year of firsts.
Big firsts.
It was the year my Mom became my best friend.

It was the year I got my first tattoo.
It was the year I committed to being the future Relay for Life Committee Co-Chair.
It was the year of forgiveness and healing for my family.
It was the year I became a Mommy to our furry kids.
It was the year I fell in love with the Montessori Method and got my first big girl job.
It was the year Buster became cancer free.
It was our first year of marriage.
It was our first year of living together in our own place.
It was the year I walked 60 miles to find a cure for breast cancer.
It was my first time cooking the Thanksgiving Meal.
It was the year I graduated college.
It was our first Christmas.
As I look back I can't help but wonder how we made it through this year. We overcame so many challenges and obstacles, but we made it to 2012! I'm so excited to see what 2012 has in store for us :)
